Before joining Wa'ed, I spent most of my career around startups and SMEs. I was first exposed to the startup ecosystem, and journey on this track, as a corporate banker where I worked across different segments including SME Banking. That was when I realized that working with businesses in the SME space was where my passion lay. Driven by my passion for sustainability, I aim to leverage my experience and deploy capital in startups that will make a positive impact and accelerate the transition toward a "Green Economy".

I have devoted most of my time helping startups grow to the next level, gaining expertise across both sides of the SME financing spectrum - the debt and equity side. This has included tenures with the likes of HSBC, Riyad Bank, Franklin Institute, The William C. Dunkelberg Fund, PwC, and EY.
