“Waed” is proud to support more than 100 diverse entrepreneurial businesses in Saudi Arabia by providing the necessary financial support, guidance and tools for entrepreneurs with creative ideas and Start-Ups. “Waed” was keen to acquire creative and unique business ideas in order to steer the wheel of Saudi’s economic growth by the hands of its ambitious national youth.
Truos was established in 2000 as a local factory for small mechanical parts and the factory used to meet the needs of small companies in the Eastern Province. Later, the factory received an approval to be financed by “Wa’ed” in 2011. The factory changed into a full-fledged factory that specializes in different mechanical manufacturing services such as metal cutting and forming metal parts such a gears, cylindrical axles, blades and large metals in the Eastern Province and the factory now covers the needs of more than 120 clients in the kingdom.

Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center Co.LTD “Wa’ed” has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) to support entrepreneurial projects and provide governmental services to Saudi and non-Saudi investors, and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom. Ibrahim Al Suwail, deputy governor of investor services and consultancy at (SAGIA) and Khalil Al Shafei, CEO and Managing Director of "Wa'ed" signed the MoU at Wa'ed Center in Dhahran.

August 23, 2020: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia – PayTabs, a Saudi Arabian payment processing company, has raised $20 million to support its growth and expansion plans. Wa’ed Ventures, the sole early investor in the company, also participated in the Series B round. PayTabs plans to use the funding to grow its business in the Middle East, while expanding into 20 additional markets over the next two years in North Africa, Southeast Asia, India, Africa and Europe. Startup Lab, the Wa’ed business incubator, conducted a three-weeks summer program 24th Juyl – 9th Aug focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship. Saifi, the program title targeted youth in Eastern region in the 16 – 18 age group from both gender. Participants engaged in structured program to take an idea form a concept into a launched product.
